OUR FOUNDERS
Meet Francis and Allen
Francis and Allen Mutatiina are Ugandan leaders, mentors and community development practitioners whose shared journey has been shaped by a commitment to people, relationships and generational growth.
Married since 10 February 2001, they have spent more than 25 years serving through leadership development, family strengthening, mentorship, organisational development and community engagement. Their experience has strengthened a conviction that meaningful progress is not only about what we accomplish today, but also about what we build, steward and pass forward.
That conviction is part of what gave rise to Mutatiinas’ Alliance Team Foundation (MATFOUND): an institution built to develop partnerships and resources that create lasting advantage across generations.

Built to Last
MATFOUND began with a simple belief: the work we do today should outlast us.
We believe lasting value is created when people, relationships and resources are brought together with purpose, so that what is built today can continue to benefit succeeding generations.
Francis and Allen Mutatiina, together with eight like-minded partners, established the Mutatiinas’ Alliance Team Foundation (MATFOUND) on 21 October 2024.
MATFOUND exists to develop partnerships and mobilise resources that create lasting advantage across generations. We work alongside Global TIP as a separate but complementary institution, united by a shared generational vision.

Francis Mutatiina
Co-Founder and Director
Transformational leader, educator, coach and organisational development practitioner.
Francis brings experience in leadership development, youth empowerment, digital innovation, community engagement and strategic partnerships. His work is shaped by a commitment to developing people, strengthening organisations and building opportunities that create lasting value across generations.
He holds a Master of Arts in Transformational Leadership and is conducting doctoral research on intergenerational leadership and sustainable holistic development.
Allen Mutatiina
Co-Founder and Director
Chief Operations Officer (COO)
Operations leader, mentor, relationships coach and community development practitioner.
Allen brings wide experience in family strengthening, youth empowerment, organisational leadership and holistic wellbeing. Her work reflects a particular commitment to active ageing, care for older persons and intergenerational development.
She is a trained theologian and social worker and is pursuing professional studies in holistic wellbeing and effectiveness, with a focus on growing older and the wellbeing of older persons.

Global Treasures and Impact Paradigms (Global TIP)
Global Treasures and Impact Paradigms (Global TIP) is a separate institution committed to helping teams and communities of all ages live active and enjoyable lives.
Its work focuses on developing and delivering solutions through four areas: Refinements, Relationships, Reinvention and Research.
MATFOUND and Global TIP are separate and complementary institutions, each with its own identity, authority and responsibilities, united by a shared generational vision.
MATFOUND develops partnerships and mobilises resources that create lasting advantage across generations, guided by Partnerships, Advantage and Legacy (PAL).
Global TIP focuses on programmes and solutions that equip teams and communities for active and enjoyable lives.
Together, we connect people, purpose and resources to strengthen impact across succeeding generations.

Francis and Allen envision thriving communities where people of all ages live active, meaningful, and productive lives. Their long-term hope includes intergenerational resource centres, mentorship networks, innovation and incubation hubs, and research that strengthens families, teams, and communities.
